What does it feel like to be wrong?
It feels exactly the same as being right.
What does it feel like to discover that you are wrong? That’s the interesting question. You should be pleased. At a minimum, you now know that you were wrong and can avoid further errors. You even have the chance to be right. But it’s not like that, is it?
Discovering that you are wrong usually isn’t pleasant, but it’s exactly that keeps us (unconsciously) wrong, that prevents us from learning. What can you, your organisation, do encourage the discovery of being wrong?
